How to Send Mail to Inmates

Note: Bulk mailings are NOT permitted at JailATM.com and will be denied.

The Taylor County Adult Detention Center has updated their system for sending mail to inmates. All inmate mail will be sent to a central processing facility, not the Detention Center where an inmate is housed. At this JailATM.com central facility, mail will be opened, scanned and emailed to the inmate at the facility.

All inmate mail should be mailed to the following address utilizing existing jail facility mail rules…

Effective April 4th, ALL PERSONAL MAIL received at this facility will be returned to sender.

New address to send mail to inmates:
Taylor County Detention Center
(Inmate Name/Number)
2830 S. Hulen Street Box #809
Fort Worth, TX 76109

Legal Mail

Legal mail must be mailed directly to the detention facility and must be sent by a legally approved entity (Licensed Attorney of Record.)

Transactional Documents

For transactions that require the inmate to sign or otherwise enter information on an original in order to carry out a transaction (i.e. endorsing a check, transferring a vehicle title, etc.) the original document must be brought to the facility where it will be approved by staff.
The Front Office/designee will coordinate a time for the inmate to review, sign documents if desired and pay to have the document mailed out of the facility or released back to the person that brought the document. Any general inmate correspondence for the inmate included with transactional documents will be destroyed and inmates will not be permitted to keep original documentation sent through this process.
