Inmate Mail

Personal Mail

Personal inmate mail will be sent to a central processing facility not the Detention Center.  Personal inmate mail that is mailed directly to the Detention Center will be returned to sender.

 Taylor County Detention Center
 (Inmate Name/Number)
 2830 S. Hulen Street Box #809
 Fort Worth, TX 76109

When mail arrives at the JailATM.com central facility, it will be opened, scanned, and emailed to the inmate at the facility.

Legal Mail

Legal mail must be sent directly to the detention facility and must originate from a legally approved entity (a licensed attorney of record)

Subscriptions

Newspapers, magazines,  and books may be mailed to the Detention Center. All such subscriptions must be sent directly from the publisher or an approved sender, such as Amazon.

Transactional Documents

For transactions that require the inmate to sign or otherwise enter information on an original document in order to complete the transaction (e.g., endorsing a check, transferring a vehicle title), the original document must be brought to the facility and approved by staff.

The Front Office or designee will coordinate a time for the inmate to review and, if desired, sign the documents, and to pay for the document to be mailed out of the facility.

Any general inmate correspondence included with transactional documents will be destroyed, and inmates will not be permitted to retain original documentation submitted through this process.

Please visit JailATM.com for information regarding inmate messaging.
