Handgun Policy

Taylor County Commissioners' Court met in regular session, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 and passed a resolution prompted by orders and designation letters from all the Judges within Taylor County designating all areas in the Taylor County Courthouse located at 300 Oak St., and the basement of the Old Courthouse at 301 Oak St. to be deemed essential to the operations of the their courts, therefore, not allowing guns, even those licensed to carry, in these two locations as specified.
